Rebecca Minkoff

We stopped by CITIPHILE Rebecca Minkoff’s studio yesterday to get a behind-the-scenes look at her Spring 2015 collection. Channeling the boho-chic era of the 1970s, a surfeit of belted shirt dresses, cuffed, pleated trousers and filmy peasant tops gave way to a wardrobe that would have surely made Jane Birkin proud. Looks emphasized wearable, relaxed silhouettes like flow-y midi skirts, trapeze tops and one-shoulder day dresses, all accented with patchwork shoes and fringe bags that seemed to pay homage to that free-spirit, 70’s babe. A dreamy, all-lace jumpsuit in the middle of the line-up set the tone for the final, moodier pieces including a flared, black basket weave top and a sensual slip dress rendered in a dark abstract floral that stunned. Take a look at our exclusive pics below.
