Compiling recommendations from CITIPHILES like Jennifer Fisher, Simon Doonan, Chelsea Leyland and Harper’s Bazaar’s Laura Brown, we’ve rounded up the best spots to refuel before, between, and after shows. Whether you’re looking for something quick and satisfying (think Chipotle or, as Ken Downing calls it,”fashion’s unspoken favorite”) or an end-of-day night cap with friends, we’ve got you covered. Wise Words From Our Contributors

Jane Keltner de Valle, Fashion News Director, Glamour | “I love Walkers in Tribeca for a quick bite or drink in between shows. It’s a stone’s throw from Spring Studios and it’s not at all a fashion crowd or menu [spot] which is refreshing.”

Lisa Smilor, Executive Vice President, CFDA | “During Fashion Week, I (try to) eat a healthy breakfast at home– steel-cut oatmeal and berries or scrambled eggs with vegetables plus a LARGE (5-shot) Americano. I never count on being able to find a place (or the time!) to stop during the day so I pack a bottle of water, a piece of fruit, assorted nuts and two LUNA bars– Lemon Vanilla (protein) and Honey Salted Peanut are personal favorites. This season, the locations of the new Fashion Week venues are a bit challenging so we’ll see [what happens]. Based on geography, I envision pit-stops at Cafe Cluny and The Standard Grill.”

Gabriele Hackworthy, Editorial Fashion Director, Net-a-Porter | “For breakfast after a late night, I love Egg Shop; the avocado on toast and scrambled eggs can cure anything! For lunch on-the-go, Smile To-Go has the most incredible kale salad and other delicious, healthy meals. I like to go to Claudette for dinner; the restaurant has a great selection of vegetarian dishes and salads for a fashion week-friendly meal (it can be so difficult to stay healthy when you’re on the run all day!). The Clock Tower in the EDITION Hotel is my new go-to for drinks after a long day of shows.”

Dani Stahl, Style Director, Nylon | “Not sure where I’ll go exactly as the shows are all over the place now more than ever! But, I will definitely have a snack on-hand as I’m pregnant and will need to eat! When at MILK Studios, maybe I’ll have time for a yummy Serafina lunch or I could always grab a slice from Artichoke Pizza!”

Marina Larroude, Senior Fashion and Accessories Director, Teen Vogue | “My snack of choice during NYFW is a green juice. My favorite is the Green Plus from Blue Dog Café. Green Iced Tea from Starbucks is a great pick me up during the day too.”

Jade Frampton, Senior Fashion Market Editor, ELLE | “Since everything is downtown now, I really love this little Italian wine bar around the corner from Spring Studios called Terra. Other than that, I think it is going to be a season of trying to find new places since [shows] are [in] new locations. I survive on granola bars and almonds during fashion week. I always have them on hand!”

Ann Caruso, Stylist | “I try to stay really healthy and hydrated during fashion week. I bring snacks in my bag like chia or Lara bars and water. I always have a protein drink in the morning or some kind of breakfast. If I’m out around lunch, I will try to stop somewhere near the last show  (preferably with a friend) like Le Pain de Quotidien for a quinoa salad.”

Gia Ghezzi, Fashion Director, Intermix | “I like to keep it light in between shows and grab easy snacks… it’s no time to get sluggish. A juice from Juice Press and small finger foods do the trick for me! Typically, I’ll wind down with a glass of vino when the chaos is over— my go-to [for that] is The Marlton!”
